Meet the Team
Barry McArthur, Sr.
Graduated from William Carey College in 1977. Received his real estate license later that same year, Barry McArthur, Sr. began making life-long relationships in the local real estate industry. Getting his broker's license in 1979, he began buying, selling and managing property for J.W. McArthur Realtor. In 2004, he joined Coldwell Banker Don Nace, Inc. Realtors as a broker associate and has since then been a multi-million dollar producer. He has also been recognized as top sales person of the year. He is a member of the Hattiesburg Board of Realtors, Hattiesburg Multiple Listing Service and the Mississippi Association of Realtors.
Barry is married to Dr. Peggy Hughes McArthur and together they have 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He attends Main Street United Methodist Church where he has been an active member all his life, including teaching Sunday school, being a confirmation leader and tutoring for the Aldersgate mission. In addition to being a supporter of various charity organizations, he has also been a Catch-A-Dream host volunteer. Being an avid outdoorsmen, Barry enjoys hunting, fishing and working on the farm.
